I'm not finding the sticky pads are... sticking very well. Important to clean both surfaces with the swab but how are others finding them?

Found it a bit of a pain getting the the backing off them (maybe my nails aren't long enough Confused ), but once in place, has been very secure - hasn't budged in 8 months or so.

Made sure the contact area was clean.

On for roughly 5 months no problems, now where's that piece of wood.

No tax disc after October 2014, so there will be a lot of Evoque custom tax disc holders on e-bay - mine included along with the car if the rattles aint fixed!
