I suggest to do it by next service check becouse it has to be changed oil and oil filter (i suppose for cost of service)

RE: Coolant Level Low

So I brought it in for the 1st complimentary service and the dealer did find a leak. According to the work order: SSM 59917 (per cjfp post) for coolant loss diagnosis. Pressure tested and observed the pressure-slowly dropping. Remove the core plugs and reseal with correct thread sealant. Reassembled engine and refilled coolant. Pressure tested- No more pressure loss.

RE: Coolant Level Low

I recently visited the dealer for my 1st-year complimentary maintenance service and coolant level check. My total mileage is presently 5300 miles. Service guy told me that the coolant level is at borderline (where the sensor would turn on low coolant message) and it's normal to check/fill up coolant level annually. Pressure test was good. So I can only conclude that this is an Evoque design flaw.

Also, the dealer replaced the Evoque's SDARS module and software (that handles radio reception) as part of a general recall. It is written on my invoice as: E Q165 SDARS Poor Reception
The new module improves radio reception.

RE: Coolant Level Low

Had this message popping up on my Si4 when first starting over the past few days and today brought it into the dealer to have a look and they confirmed there is a pressure loss in the system so they need to have a closer look at the problem. Hoping it won't take too long to sort out but apparently it will take a couple of days or so.

Oh and as for what coolant is used, it does mention it in the manual (which I don't have to hand), but I think it was a 50/50 mix of water and Texaco XLC antifreeze coolant.

Dynamic Si4 5dr Orkney Grey, Black Pano, Vortex + Ebony, Keyless Entry, Spare Wheel
Collected 12th March 2012
