That was my assumption, but haven't tested it. I assumed the key has an RFID chip or similar in it that is read by the spot under the steering column to identify the key even without power or any other failure of the key transmitter.
Pure SD4 auto, white, sunroof, tech pack, clearview pack, power fold mirrors, elec leather seats, power tailgate, park distance front, rear camera, roof rails/crossbars, mudflaps, rubber loadspace mat.
