Changed Mirror - Blind Spot Inactive

Hi guys,

2014 Evoque with Blind Spot Monitoring, Auto Park & Wade Sensing.

When I bought the car, the mirror housing was broken, the supplying dealer didn't have time to sort it - so he provided a used mirror. I've just paid an indy to fit my mirror and they say there are warning messages about the blind spot being inactive etc.

Do the mirrors need to be reset or calibrated? Or is it more likely that I've been given the wrong mirror?

Thanks,

Dan

RE: Changed Mirror - Blind Spot Inactive

sounds like the wrong mirror to me. you may have been given just a standard basic heated/electric one. Does it fold in electrically?

I had a similar issue with a Freelander 1 I bought - drivers door mirror wasn't working so the garage sourced a used one to replace it with, didn't fold in electrically, so they got another used one which also didn't fold. In the end they had to fork out for a brand new folding one. They weren't happy Very Happy
