RE: Bye Bye Evoque

I drove a Dynamic before ordering my HSE, and to be honest I didn't notice much of a difference. It certainly wasn't worth the extra money, and I prefreed the looks of the HSE anyway.

Arrived: MY14.5 RRS HSE SDV6 in Loire Blue, Ivory interior, piano black trim, privacy glass,
panoramic sunroof, tow bar, mudflaps and full size spare Cool

Gone but not forgotten: 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE in Santorini Black, 19" Alloys, ebony interior,
piano black trim & grab handles, privacy glass, lux pack, rear spoiler, mudflaps and tow bar Very Happy

RE: Bye Bye Evoque

It really has gone now.

After the dealer offer of £24700, I was not minded to try to get more by touting the car around the place but then an offer of £25870 from WeBuyAnyCar.Com came in. So after getting the car cleaned today, I went over to them and they eventually went firm on £25480, a reduction of £390 for two scuffed wheels and a bonnet and front bumper respray required.

Still, that's £780 more than the dealer so I'm happy enough and of course the £24700 was subject to the dealer's own inspection. I'm not one to sell cars privately and it seems to me WBAC offer an alternative to dealer P/EX which is at least worth looking at.

I liked the Evoque very much and am now looking forward to the SVR. I'm hoping to go to Solihull next week to catch a glimpse of it on the line.

RE: Bye Bye Evoque

So, here it is on its way to its next owner. I thought it looked pretty good after a bit of a clean... I hope whoever buys FR61 ODL (as the registration no now is) enjoys the car. Squeak and rattle free, hurrah!!

RE: Bye Bye Evoque

Thank you, I don't think the next owner will be disappointed by the condition providing they've paid a sensible price for it.
