Back-lit side vents

I back lit my side vents. I did the same MOD on my Raptor a few years ago and it looks great.

Looking good. Suppose there is different colors to choose from. Did you just connect the cable to the parking light?

You can use different colors. Below is what I ordered from glow hut. I tried to find the side marker wire so I could t-tap the wire but was un able to do so. I pulled a wire from the fuse box. It comes on when I start the car and goes off a min after I turn it off. Here is the link to the Raptor forum where I got the idea. - http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f81/backl...-logo-152/

I reall did not like the color of the red EL tape because it has a pink look to it so I put a piece of red tail light lens repair film over the EL tape. Now it has a true red color to it and it will not fade do to the sun/UV. Here is the link for the tail light repair kit - http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Star-Brake-Li...B007XZR2XS

Here is the link to - GlowHut - http://glowhut.com/
Heres exactly what I ordered - sorry the links didnt really work.

1 - EL red tape with 12v El converter
1 - EL red tape
1 - 3 way splitter
1 - EL wire accessories - you need to extend the drivers side wire to reach the el tape. I used 18g speaker wire and these quick connects
