By the way just noticed the tape looks like it has a few gaps - I left them there to allow water to drain away easily. One at the back for when going on the motorway and two at the front for when sitting still. It rains a LOT here in Glasgow!
Had a quick look back on here and some people appear to have put them on straight whereas some appear to have put them on following the lines of the bonnet creases. I think the coupe seems to have them following the lines of the bonnet crease, correct?

RE: Bonnet Vents

All MY 2016 cars get the bonnet vents, regardless of Coupe or 5 Door so if you don't fancy your chances with the tinsnips and glue then you could always buy a new bonnet now

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: Bonnet Vents

I've just received a set of aftermarket black bonnet vents (with 3M trim tape) for my MY15 5 door Dynamic all the way from China. They have Range Rover on them and aesthetically they look just like the OEM ones I had on my coupe. Awesome quality and only £67 delivered from China. Can't wait to fit them! I didn't ideally want the Hawke ones or want to start butchering my bonnet or buy a new one, so these fit the bill perfectly for me. Good to hear that all models from MY16 are due to get them, Tim. Lol, darn those bean counters who decided that 5 door Evoques wouldn't have them all along.

RE: Bonnet Vents

With two bonnet designs to make they will be saving money by only having a single design, even if it means having to have one extra process in the manufacture (stamping out the blank which they already do for Coupe's). Also helps make the car about 500grm lighter!

RE: Bonnet Vents

Mine just arrived and looks like quality. (product link - aliexpress)

My car is all black, so I got the all black version.

It had paper templates for easy fit. I scanned them for you (attached).

I wait for my wife to bring the car next week Smile

RE: Bonnet Vents

I think it's really simple, just align the markups

RE: Bonnet Vents

just come across this post, was thinking of sticking/adding these to mine... Would be good to hear from a few member on posts past from this thread who did the Mod and could give a bit of info in how they held up over the years from jet washing etc

Thx Thumbs Up
