Bluefin sd4 and milltek exhaust

Hi all first post I think on this site
But i own a sd4 dynamic and was looking at a remap
Has anyone got bluefin ,can't find a lot of information online to say someone has done it

Also wouldn't mind a milltek exhaust as the ones on YouTube sound quite throaty and decent

RE: Bluefin sd4 and milltek exhaust

Hi and welcome.

Blufin is great, but I've not done it on mine as its under warranty, as soon as its up i will buy one, I've had it on every car I've owned and it really makes a difference.

Miltek make great exhausts, had one on my v6 mondeo st220. sounded awesome, can't vouch for diesel though, check the mondeo sttdci owners club and search for tdci mondeo st on you tube, same engine roughly so will give you an idea of sound.

RE: Bluefin sd4 and milltek exhaust

I had bluefin on my previous high performance cars
And I do like it but don't know about the mechanics of the evoque very much Ie gearbox etc(mine is a manual)
Bit sceptical about the milltek as can you actually get a diesel to sound good(only ever owned petrol high performance cars so wouldn't know)
But I will be youtubing mondeo diesels with milltek

Thanks very much ps do you own a diesel evoque or petrol

RE: Bluefin sd4 and milltek exhaust

Hi, i've been running the Bluefin on my SD4 for over 2 years. It made a big difference to performance and smoothed out issues with the car 'pausing' when pulling away plus made it more nippy.

Whilst Milltek make really nice systems, the Evoque version is only for bragging rights and a waste of money as you'll struggle to get a decent, non-boomy sound and a power increase out of any exhaust-turbo car (my other car is a BMW M2), let alone a desiel.

That's exactly what I was after thanks alot
Yes I've noticed a few pauses as ive been pulling out

Had an email back from superchips and it's £232 for the remap as I already own the handset from my previous car, just have to send it to them and they will re programme it

That's good price, I paid £389 but that did inc shipping to Sweden.

You'll notice the difference straight away, it makes for a completely different drive.
