Battery terminal

I had my 5th year service last week and I've just noticed the battery terminals now have a blue dry over any exposed metal parts. Also I can't remember ever seeing the battery sticker having Jaguar Land Rover on it before.
It did have Q585 but isn't that a software update on the gear box? By the way it's so much better at pulling away at junctions and town driving now.
Has anyone else got this blue dry on there battery terminal (it's not one of these spray on sealers) and if you have 2011-2012 model, does your battery have a Land Rover or Jaguar Land Rover sticker attached please.

RE: Battery terminal

There has recently been a software patch to try and cure the lag on the 6 speed auto when pulling away so that may be what was applied at the service. The blue dye isn't just that they cleaned up the terminals and then applied a thin coat of vaseline during the service could it?

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
