RE: Barolo Black body with Firenze Red roof

Thanks for the comments peeps.

@Seb: I'll snag a few more photos today and post them later. Sun was setting so didn't get too many shots last night.
@Griff: I'm leaning towards painting mine too Mad
@Aand: Yep, love the chuckiness. It'll be more chunky once the running boards are installed. Gotta get those painted first though.
@Bruno: Lol, I guess that's true. I had a Mini Clubman with a Red body and black roof so thought I'd flip it. ;p
@Neo: They did remove the spoiler completely to paint separate and rubber trims were removed for painting as well.
@J77: Yep! Style 4 19" wheels. Powdercoated black Very Happy
@Kentboy: Do it! More red tops please ;p

Looks great! how hard is it to get bikes up there? are the racks shifted forward to avoid the boot door?

RE: Barolo Black body with Firenze Red roof

I attempted to install the bike racks forward facing but the boot was hitting up against the back end of the racks so I just flipped it and now the bikes are put on backwards. So technically there's now more room to push the whole roof back but I just haven't gotten around to adjusting the crossbars.

It is definitely a pain to put the bikes up there. I'm 5'9" and it's a stretch to put the bikes up without opening the door and stepping up on the inside sill of the door. That's why I purchased some running boards to make it a tad easier. I would have bought some sooner but the stock LR ones didn't look right so I had to wait and finally found some! Just gotta paint the aluminum to matte black.

Very nice - I didn't think I'd like it but you've done a great job!

I'm really liking the Style 4 wheels in black - that's the first set I've seen. I'd really like to see more pics of those too!
