I can assure you of one thing you can do with ease in your Evoque that you wouldn't want to do in a Defender.......... drive the length of the UK in the same time as you can in the Evoque, even the latest 2.2TDCi's with all their air-con, heated seats and screens they are still cramped and bouncy....................... but way more fun! I've tried it and the longest I survived was a 3 hour stint with stops every hour to get the circulation back in my right arm, to dry off my right foot that was soaked from the leaks and to restore my hearing! Give me my Evoque for a long drive any day
A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.
