Anyone encountered ECU problems on their Evoque?

I was getting the following error messages on the display HDC Not available System Fault, Stability control Not available, Gear box fault.

I wondered has anyone seen these issues on their Evoque. I am also get a juddering noise from the back when I drive off, and when I turn left or right on full lock.

Landrover specialist said it was the HalDex unit and had that changed to no avail Sad

Then had the ECU repaired still get the noise but no more errors displaying. Car is 5 years old and only done 39000 miles.

Pure SD4 Auto Black Tech pack, Pano roof, Powered tailgate, Dim rear view, Carpet mats & edging, Parking Assist Aid - Rear camera, Folding mirrors, Front Fogs, Auto Light, Rain sensor, Adaptive Xenons, Heated SW, Keyless entry and Privacy Glass arrived 13 Jan 12 Smile

Oh dear Famix, that doesn't sound good.

Not sure what an ECU repair might mean, could be cabling damage to cause errors like that, how much has that all cost or did you keep warranty running?

Juddering from the back could be rear diff!

The source of all the warnings could be a dying battery, is it still the original in the car.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

Yes still the original car. sadly I never got an option to extend my warrenttee Sad so far spent already £1600 to no avail.

They said they had to reprogram the ECU as they could see faults on it not didn't specific what sort of faults.

Think its time to move away from LR Sad

I had the battery change within the first few months of having the car.

Fam1x,
Sounds like the diff has gone.
Mine started shuddering at 72000 miles. Found out the front diff between had gone and took a good 2 grand to fix it.
Apart from that, Merry Xmas.

Got mine : Dynamic Fuji White with Lux Pack and black contrast roof.
Optional extras : Privacy glass, Heated steering wheel and TPMS.
Me: Very HappyVery Happy
