Iain, not looking for negatives but if there is perceived to be a safety issue with the fuel filling, that will just be the perfect excuse for them to delay the car even more and issue a recall to the ones out there.

RE: Another Hiccup?

There are quite a few people on here with Si4's and no reports of refuelling issues so it may not be a major issue. I don't know where the info originated from on the other site and haven't heard anything else thus far to back it up. If it does result in a recall I doubt it will be a major hassle. I had my first 458 recalled for the glue on the wheel arch issue to be carried out and I waited whilst that was done. It was a minor inconvenience IMHO and not something that blighted ownership.

I can't see the factory holding up delivery for this issue when there are cars out there not suffering any issues at present. As far as I'm aware from my dealer and also through a friend who is using a different dealer, the factory is getting back on top of things with deliveries.

Hopefully when you do receive your car the wait will have been worth it and the problems forgotten. I'm certainly enjoying the remapped Si4. It's a great car to drive.

DMS - 290 bhp. Much more urgency off the line and no throttle hesitation. Smooth, linear power delivery. Also likely to prove a lot cheaper than the 300bhp version Land Rover have touted as being in development.

RE: Another Hiccup?

Does sound like a one-off, so hopefully it's down to the pump they were using. Thanks for the info Iain.
