Air con coming on suddenly

This has happened a few times now whilst driving on the motorway after about 20 mins AC just comes on by itself, not on Auto either. Not a major concern but puzzling.

Any ideas

Yes Goosnargh! An old village in Lancashire, the name originates from Viking times for goose field apparently.

We may be relatedLaughing

No! and not much sense from the forum either. Happened again yesterday on way from airport, hardly seems worth booking it in for attention until service though.Question

RE: Air con coming on suddenly

This has been happening to me for the past 18 months, basically from new. The rubbish mechanics at the dealership were telling me is wasn't happening so drove there when it was and they confirmed it was broken. It would come on with no light in the instrument panel and stay on.

We have been plagued with a couple of electrical on top of this since owning the car and all have yet to be fixed even after the dealer having the car for 5 weeks. Eventually got fed up with the car and the useless dealer so it's going back to them today in exchange for a new car.

Sorry I cannot offer any assistance however, if it's any comfort you're not alone and as for fixing it, good luck and when you find out maybe sell the solution to LR
