2016MY AHBA

Currently over on RRSport.co.uk there are a few members who have taken delivery of 2016MY RRS who have found that the Automatic High Beam Assist (AHBA) that was ordered as an option has not been set up for their cars and there is currently no fix or software upgrade to cure the problem.

If you are about to take delivery of, or have taken delivery of, a 2016MY Evoque with AHBA please will you check that it is a) fitted and b) it works properly as this is an issue for RRS, and possibly Disco4's and FFRR's coming out of the Solihull factory. Those with Discovery Sports with AHBA should check their car's system too.

A Pangea Green New Defender 110 First Edition is now sitting on my drive alongside British Racing Green Electric Mini Cooper SE Level 3. After 21 years in my hands my TDI300 90 was handed on to the next custodian on 15 July 2022.

RE: 2016MY AHBA

My DS works, but I've went with xenons on my next Disco perhaps worth a text to my salesman as the car should be arriving at the dealer soon.

RE: 2016MY AHBA

I assume by AHBA its the high beam automatically detects on coming traffic and dips to low beam. My MY15 Evoque has this. I leave it on and 90% of the time its good, sharp bends are the only thing that catches it out a little and its then slow to dip.
